NPF Rescue Me! Is a free public safety app provided by Nigeria Police Force as part of her obligation in protection of life and properties of every Nigerian citizens and is restricted to user outside Nigeria. This SERVICE is provided and managed by Nigeria Police no cost and is intended for use as public safety tools. Please note that This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at NPF Rescue Me! unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

1.0 Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, NPF may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, user contact information, device information in order to help the authorities for easy tracking at the cause of sending for help.The information that NPF request will be retained by NPF Central Database and used as described in this privacy policy. Personal Identifiable information includes but not limited to Name, Contact Address, Email Address and contact number. Medical information is optional. User Device Information includes but not limited to Network Provider, GPS, Power Status, IMEI ID, Brand, Model, Device Type. This application also access your Device Camera, Microphone, Video and Location at the point of requesting for emergency. You have the assurance that all data are own, manage and stored by Nigeria Police Force (Government). The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you. Log Data

NPF wish to inform you that whenever you use Rescue ME Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. As you are going to input the ICE contact information form in the mobile application, to provide ease of inputting mobile number we would require access to your device contacts. We assure you that non of your contacts information is going to be uploaded to the servers. In case you don't want to pick the contacts from the list, you can simply input the mobile number manually.
